Count and non-count nouns

Examples:
Count Nouns
How many eggs are there in the refrigerator?
There is one.
There are a lot of candies in the pot. Would you like some?
Non-count Nouns
How much sugar do we need to make a chocolate cake?
We need one cup of sugar.
There isn't much salt in the kitchen. I'll get some in the supermarket.
